Happy New Year!
Like many people, I use this time of year to reflect on where I am and what I want to work on. For a long time, I’ve wanted to take my passion for fitness a step further by becoming a coach. But I’ve always put it on hold — focusing on my own fitness journey and my career as a scientist. Still, that idea of doing more with fitness has always been in the back of my mind.
This year, I’ve decided to stop putting it off. I’m taking practical steps to become a certified fitness coach by preparing for the NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach exams.
I’ve learned a lot through my own fitness journey, but I want to go beyond personal experience and build a strong foundation in fitness and health to better support others. The goal isn’t just to coach — it’s to provide a well-rounded, informed approach to helping people achieve their own goals.
